Shop items ending in .47, .49, .97 and .99
Many retailers have price tag codes that once you crack them, it’s easy to find their best deals. At Old Navy, items ending in .47, .49, .97 and .99 are usually discontinued or clearance items. When you shop these deals, know that you are getting the best price. Good to remember is that price ending in .97 means that the item will be further marked down and price ending in .47 is final price markdown.
Sunday and Monday markdowns
If you only shop occasionally, make sure it’s on a Sunday or Monday because this is when new markdowns come out at Old Navy. You should always start with this section first for biggest savings.
Thursday price cut
Every Thursday, Old Navy runs a temporary price cut for an item of their choice, which could be something you may like. It’s usually at a very low price to the regular value.
1-Day deals
The store has 1-day deals once or twice every week, but not on the same day(s) of the week every time. If you want to know about these events, check their Facebook page because that’s where they post info. And you want to know, because these often include 50% off select items.

Sometimes the best of Old Navy deals can be found online at OldNavy.com where there are constant coupon offerings that you can even stack to maximize savings. The store policy allows you to stack up to four coupon codes per order. In addition, online coupons tend to be of a higher percentage than in-store.
Wait for at least 40% off
It’s not worth paying full price for an item or anything less than 40% off because Old Navy discounts just about any item of any size to 40% off eventually. Patience pays off because you can even save 40% of entire new merchandise purchase when you combine coupons with storewide sales.
Free shipping when you order in-store
Purchases made online at OldNavy.com need to be of a minimum $50 value to qualify as free delivery, but in stores, when you can’t find an item of your size or color, employees can order it for you and they will deliver to your house free if the total value is over $25.
Take an extra percent off clearance items
Not as often as we’d like, but every now and then Old Navy offers extra percents off merchandise already on clearance. Stay on top of the news when you sign up to receive their email newsletter or text alerts (the latter sent for weekly deals also).
20% off coupon
When you sign up for Old Navy emails, you are instantly sent a 20% off coupon to use on your entire purchase. And on your birthday, they’ll send you a coupon of $10 off a $50 purchase, just for signing up.
